IperionX has raised approximately $50 million through a public offering, selling 2.275 million shares at $21.98 each. The company will use the proceeds to expand production at its Titanium Manufacturing Campus in Virginia and continue development of the Camden Titanium Project in Tennessee. Cantor Fitzgerald led the offering, with Roth Capital Partners and B. Riley Securities as co-managers. The funding is earmarked for direct manufacturing expansion, not acquisitions or debt repayment.
IperionX is building a domestic titanium supply chain using its proprietary low-carbon recycling technology, which converts titanium scrap into new products at lower cost and with reduced emissions. This positions the company to serve aerospace, defense, automotive, and additive manufacturing customers at a time when the U.S. is prioritizing domestic critical materials production. The company has already secured Department of Defense support and is transitioning from research to commercial production.
The practical implication for the AM industry is straightforward: a reliable domestic source of titanium powder and feedstock would reduce supply-chain risk for metal AM users, particularly in defense and aerospace programs where material provenance and qualification timelines are critical. IperionX's ability to scale production will determine whether it becomes a meaningful materials supplier or remains a development-stage story.
