Massivit has opened its first European Service Centre in Barcelona, Spain, dedicated to supporting its RapidWings manufacturing platform. The facility will produce on-demand composite tooling using Massivit's proprietary Cast-In-Motion (CIM) technology, targeting molds, masters, mandrels, jigs, fixtures, and prototype tooling. CEO Yossi Azarzar stated the center is the first step in building a global network of service centers and manufacturing facilities, with the Barcelona site serving as a hub for aerospace and defense customers facing supply chain bottlenecks. The center promises a seamless workflow from digital CAD design through 3D-printed tool to final machined part, with CIM technology delivering isotropic tooling suitable for autoclave use and hundreds of cycles.
