Nikon SLM Solutions has entered a partnership with Xpertos3D to distribute and support its metal additive manufacturing systems across Argentina, Chile, and Ecuador. The collaboration targets aerospace, energy, and other industrial sectors requiring high part quality and process reliability. Xpertos3D will provide end-to-end support from initial part assessment and design adaptation through qualified production, addressing the full process chain of powder handling, build preparation, thermal treatment, quality control, and documentation. Latin America remains an underpenetrated market for industrial metal AM, with most activity concentrated in Brazil and Mexico.
