PRIMES released the ScanFieldMonitor 2D, characterizing a 200x200 mm laser scan field in just 20 seconds. Using 225 scattering structures, the system measures beam position and width at process powers up to 750W. This reduces positional deviations from 2.2 mm to a mean accuracy of 18 um, addressing thermal focus shifts traditional methods ignore. For multi-laser PBF-LB systems, this ensures the precise alignment required for high-quality series production. 🚀⚙️ #AdditiveManufacturing #Laser #PBF
