Rapid Fusion Enters Italian Market via Exclusive Partnership with Aivox to Target 1 Million Euro in Sales.

Exeter-based LFAM specialist Rapid Fusion has entered an exclusive partnership with Italian innovation consultancy Aivox to expand its footprint in the European market. The agreement includes the installation of a Zeus robotic system at Aivox’s Monza laboratory, which will serve as a hub for customer trials and technical demonstrations of Rapid Fusion’s PE320 extruder technology. The companies are targeting 1 million Euro in new business by the end of 2026, focusing on industrial applications within the Italian naval, fashion, medical, and architecture sectors. This expansion adds Italy to the company’s existing operational regions, which currently include Australia, Dubai, Greece, and the United States.

This partnership addresses the historically slow adoption of large format additive manufacturing in Italy by providing local technical support and onsite demonstration capabilities. Rapid Fusion competes in the LFAM segment against established robotic extrusion providers, aiming to differentiate its offering through the integration of its proprietary PE320 extruder across its Zeus, Apollo, Medusa, and Cerberus platforms. By leveraging the LITIX Group’s industrial network, the company seeks to transition its technology from a prototyping tool to a production-grade manufacturing solution for complex, large-scale components. The move highlights a broader trend of hardware providers seeking specialized regional partners to navigate local industrial requirements and accelerate market penetration.

For Rapid Fusion, the immediate priority is converting the current pipeline of Italian prospects into validated production contracts to meet the 1 million Euro revenue target. Success will depend on the ability of the Aivox team to effectively integrate the Zeus system into existing manufacturing workflows and demonstrate the repeatable quality of the PE320 extruder. Prospective users should focus on evaluating the system’s material throughput and dimensional accuracy for their specific end-use applications in the naval and industrial sectors.
