Suwei Precision deploys Yingpu SLS equipment cluster including P360 and P550DL for hybrid manufacturing

Jiangsu Suwei Precision Technology Co., Ltd. has integrated a specialized Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) hardware cluster from Yingpu 3D to establish an industrial-grade hybrid manufacturing platform. The deployment features four Yingpu P360 units with 360x360x600mm build volumes and one Yingpu P550DL unit offering a 550x550x850mm build volume. To support these machines, Suwei Precision has implemented two PPS360 and one PPS550 powder handling workstations, which automate part cleaning, powder recovery, and dust collection. This setup allows the facility to process high-performance polymers including PA12 (Precimid1172Pro) and glass-fiber reinforced nylon (Precimid1176Pro GF30 BLK) for complex functional prototypes.

This strategic hardware integration addresses the growing demand for rapid prototyping that bridges the gap between aesthetic modeling and functional testing in the automotive, medical, and aerospace sectors. By combining Yingpu's SLS capabilities with over 100 CNC machining centers, Suwei Precision is positioning itself as a high-throughput service provider capable of additive-subtractive hybrid workflows. The use of Yingpu's CO2 laser-based systems enables the simultaneous production of black and white components, a critical requirement for assembly verification and multi-material simulation. This move targets the high-growth segment of small-batch production where traditional injection molding is too slow and standard FDM lacks the necessary isotropic properties.

For service providers, the success of this platform depends on the seamless synchronization between the Yingpu powder management systems and the post-processing CNC workflows. The ability to deliver complex nylon components within a 48-hour window requires strict control over powder recyclability and thermal stability during the SLS process. Buyers in the high-end prototyping market should evaluate the consistency of the glass-fiber reinforced nylon parts produced by the P550DL for large-scale structural applications. ๐Ÿš€
