XJet, the Israeli developer of NanoParticle Jetting (NPJ) technology, has partnered with UK-based engineering consultancy eqops to serve as its sales and support partner across the UK and Ireland. The collaboration combines XJet's NPJ platform with eqops' operational infrastructure and deep additive manufacturing expertise across high-performance industries including aerospace, defense, energy, electronics, and medical devices. The partnership covers the full customer lifecycle from system selection and installation through process optimization, compliance, and long-term service support. XJet Chief Business Officer Gilad Gans stated that eqops' technical knowledge and structured support approach across hundreds of systems made them the right partner for these markets.

This partnership fits the recurring pattern of specialized regional distributors becoming critical for AM hardware companies seeking to scale beyond their home markets without building costly direct sales infrastructure. XJet's NPJ technology occupies a distinctive position in the metal AM landscape — it uses nanoparticle suspensions in a jetting process that eliminates powder handling and enables fine-feature ceramic and metal parts, but has faced adoption headwinds compared to more established LPBF and binder jetting workflows. The UK and Ireland represent moderate but growing AM markets where end-users in aerospace and medical devices increasingly demand local support for process qualification and compliance. For XJet, this deal reduces the risk of entering these markets with a direct sales team and leverages eqops' existing relationships with advanced manufacturers who may be evaluating NPJ as an alternative to conventional powder-bed processes.

From a practical standpoint, XJet's success with this partnership will depend on eqops' ability to translate NPJ's technical advantages into credible qualification packages for regulated industries. The company must demonstrate that NPJ can deliver repeatable mechanical properties and surface finish at production volumes, not just in demonstration parts. For potential buyers in the UK and Ireland, the availability of local support for installation, process optimization, and compliance should lower the perceived risk of adopting a less common AM technology.
