3YOURMIND, in partnership with the Federal Division of the Phillips Corporation, is participating in a distributed manufacturing experiment during the RIMPAC naval exercise around Hawaii. Coordinated by the Naval Postgraduate School, the Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research and Education (CAMRE), and FLEETWERX, the test uses 3YOURMIND's software platform to manage digital production orders across multiple military locations. The platform handles part identification, order management, and production planning, prioritizing requests and controlling file transfers to containerized manufacturing units deployed on the USS Essex. Phillips provides a combined additive and CNC machining system for at-sea production during the exercise.

This experiment directly addresses the military's persistent spare parts logistics challenge, where long supply chains for critical components impact operational readiness.
