CRP USA to showcase flight-qualified Windform composite parts for satellites at SmallSat 2026

CRP USA will exhibit at SmallSat 2026 in Salt Lake City from August 23 to 26, displaying components made from its Windform family of glass- and carbon-fiber-reinforced composites. The booth will feature satellite structures, parts for optical systems, unmanned aerial vehicle components, and launch aids produced through 3D printing. CRP USA points to NASA-recognized outgassing test procedures for Windform materials, addressing a requirement specific to space hardware where released substances can contaminate sensors and optics. The company holds AS9100D certification and ITAR registration, and manufactures in North America.

According to Vu Mai, Senior Director of Sales, customer conversations have shifted from individual material performance metrics toward finished, flight-tested hardware. That reframing matters for satellite constellation builders, defense programs, and autonomous-platform makers, who need lightweight, fiber-reinforced parts qualified fast enough to match short development cycles rather than multi-year aerospace qualification timelines. CRP USA is positioning itself as a single supplier that can carry a program from first sample through serial production, which reduces the qualification burden of switching vendors between prototyping and flight hardware.

No new product accompanies the show appearance; the value is in reference parts and outgassing data that let engineers specify fiber-reinforced polymer AM for secondary flight structures rather than only early prototypes.
