Guangsu Yigou emerges as elastomer 3D printing mass-production leader with fully self-developed flexible manufacturing

Originally reported by 南极熊3D打印网

Guangsu Yigou Intelligent Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., a Chinese startup founded in July 2025, has rapidly established itself as a mass-production specialist in elastomer 3D printing. The company completed an angel round in December 2025 and simultaneously activated a 4,000 sqm smart factory in Nantong, China. By April 2026, it has filed nearly 20 core patents and launched multiple industrial-grade DLP printers with 400mm build platforms, including the GS-RS-Lcd Pro and AURORA-DP-400Untal, alongside a fully self-developed elastomer photopolymer resin portfolio. Guangsu Yigou positions itself as a turnkey "smart factory" solution provider, claiming it can help clients achieve stable mass production within 60 days of system setup.

This emergence is significant because elastomer 3D printing has long been stuck in prototyping due to material inconsistency, poor batch repeatability, and high per-part costs. Guangsu Yigou's vertically integrated model — materials, optics, machines, and process control — directly attacks the "mass production gap" that has limited flexible-material AM in footwear, medical wearables, consumer electronics, and soft robotics. The company's adoption of automotive-grade quality management and standardized process control in a 3D printing factory is a rare operational move that could set a new benchmark for production reliability. While competitors like Carbon (DLS) and Stratasys (PolyJet) offer elastomer-like materials, they lack Guangsu Yigou's factory-level turnkey service and modular upgrade path, which lowers the barrier for mid-tier manufacturers in China and Southeast Asia to adopt elastomer AM at scale.

From an expert standpoint, Guangsu Yigou's real test will be whether it can sustain batch-to-batch material consistency across multiple customer deployments and prove its 60-day ramp-up claim with audited yield data. The company's modular hardware architecture is a practical hedge against rapid technology obsolescence, but its long-term moat depends on embedding its process parameters into customers' qualification workflows — a pattern familiar from the aerospace qualification grind. For now, Guangsu Yigou has built a credible foundation for industrial elastomer production, but the industry will watch for independent validation of its throughput and cost-per-part metrics.
