华曙高科 (Farsoon Technologies), a Chinese industrial polymer and metal AM OEM, has launched its FS450M full-process automated shoe mold solution in Vietnam, in partnership with local industrial 3D printing solutions provider 越南创鸿科技有限公司 (Chuanghong Technology). The announcement was made during the 2026 Southeast Asia Footwear Additive Manufacturing Forum, which drew over 60 attendees including technical teams from international sportswear brands and Vietnamese mold manufacturers. The FS450M is equipped with six 500W fiber lasers and a modular design that integrates AGV automatic transport, a one-to-four fully automatic powder circulation system, post-processing automation modules, and an MES digital control platform, enabling end-to-end automated coordination of printing, powder removal, and material handling.

This launch targets the Southeast Asian footwear manufacturing hub, where traditional mold production suffers from long lead times, high material waste, and heavy labor dependence. Farsoon's open-architecture approach - covering hardware, software, materials, and parameters - allows users to tune processes for consistent quality across machines and batches, a critical requirement for scaling production in a region with varied factory maturity levels. The move also addresses a persistent safety gap in local factories: Farsoon is bundling a complete EHS (Environmental, Health, Safety) management framework covering printer safety design, workshop protocols, and personal protective equipment.
