Rosatom is integrating metal 3D printing into Kyrgyzstan's hydropower sector through a strategic agreement to localize component production. The initiative targets over 40 planned small and medium hydroelectric plants aimed at reaching 405 MW of capacity by 2027. By deploying its Rusmelt printers and in-house powders, Rosatom replaces costly casting with on-demand manufacturing.
