Mexican design practice MANUFACTURA has debuted CORNCRETL, a 3D-printable bio-composite made from corn waste and nixtamalization byproducts. Utilizing a WASP HD feeding system and KUKA robotic arm, the material achieves a 70 percent reduction in carbon emissions and a 90 percent decrease in production waste.
