Rem3dy Health, the UK-based parent company of 3D printed personalized nutrition brand Nourished, has raised £14 million ($18.7 million) in a funding round backed by Suntory, Estrella Galicia, Apollo Hospitals, and French pharmaceutical firm UPSA. The round values the company at £84 million. Founder and CEO Melissa Snover said the capital will fund international expansion into the US, India, the Middle East, and North Africa, along with further automation and AI investments in manufacturing. Rem3dy reported over £10 million in revenue for 2025, up 61% year-over-year, and currently produces approximately 500,000 personalized gummies per day using its proprietary seven-layer nutrient stack 3D printing platform.
This funding is significant for the additive manufacturing industry because Nourished represents one of the few commercially scaled, high-volume consumer goods applications of 3D printing outside of dental aligners. The company has moved beyond pilot programs and demonstration projects to real retail distribution through Boots, Holland & Barrett, and Ocado in the UK, plus thousands of pharmacies across Europe. The investor mix — spanning beverage, pharmaceutical, and hospital groups — suggests Rem3dy is building strategic distribution partnerships rather than relying on traditional venture capital alone. The company also holds 29 patents covering its technology and manufacturing processes, creating a defensible position in the personalized nutrition segment.
From an AM industry perspective, the key question is whether Rem3dy can replicate its UK retail model in larger, more fragmented markets like the US and India while maintaining production quality and cost discipline. The company's 61% revenue growth and existing production scale are credible proof points, but expanding into new geographies will test its ability to localize supply chains and navigate different regulatory frameworks for supplements. For now, Nourished remains the clearest commercial success story in 3D printed food and nutrition — a category that has historically struggled to move beyond novelty.
