BigRep has introduced a series of usability upgrades to its ONE.5X large-format 3D printer, bringing desktop-style convenience to the industrial polymer FFF segment. The enhancements include a fully enclosed build chamber with active heating, a new touchscreen interface with simplified workflow navigation, and an automated bed-leveling system that eliminates manual calibration. The ONE.5X retains its 1000 x 800 x 600 mm build volume and supports engineering-grade thermoplastics such as PA6/66, PETG, and ASA, targeting tooling, jigs, and low-volume production applications. The upgrades are available as a retrofit kit for existing ONE.5X units and come standard on new shipments from BigRep's Berlin headquarters.
