Kare 3D, based in Istanbul, has opened an all-or-nothing Kickstarter campaign seeking £52,275 for the Kare S1 desktop printer, which it says processes metal and plastic filaments. It had raised £16,082 from six backers, with a 27 August 2026 deadline; the company says prototypes are in testing before production and distribution. The S1 has a 200 x 200 x 200 mm build volume; the S1 Plus extends Z height to 480 mm. Claimed limits include a 550°C nozzle, 150°C bed and 500 mm/s print speed.

Metal use needs the optional Kare Metal Set, with a sintering furnace and washing unit. Its £8,000 Printing Kit includes this equipment and one 316L stainless-steel spool, but not the printer. The offering is therefore a metal-filament print-and-sinter workflow, where debinding, shrinkage control and furnace repeatability determine finished-part quality. The practical test for users is the complete workflow’s tolerances, material performance and throughput-not the headline printer specifications.
