Manuven launches AI qualification-as-a-service platform; NFAC project used 2,500 talks, 200+ docs

Manuven, a Philadelphia early-stage spin-out from Authentise, has launched an AI platform that sells qualification of additively manufactured production parts as a service. The three-step workflow reads geometries and machining requirements from drawings, scans, and text; proposes materials, Design for Additive Manufacturing changes, and build sequences with embedded qualification steps; then auto-generates technical data packages, maintains traceability, and routes jobs to vetted manufacturing partners. Manuven does not print parts. In a project with the National Full-Scale Aerodynamics Complex (NFAC), run by the U.S. Air Force and NASA for the world's largest wind tunnel, the system processed about 2,500 conversations and more than 200 documents across multi-supplier turbine blade work.

Qualification-not printability-is still what separates a one-off build from serial AM production, especially where aerospace and defense programs demand process proof rather than demo cells. Authentise chief Andre Wegner has said Manuven grew from repeated field experience with fragile manufacturing processes, not a consulting whiteboard, framing the offer as evidence assembly and supplier coordination rather than another design chatbot. By sitting between OEMs, tier suppliers, and certified bureaus, the platform targets the documentation and project-management drag that often outlasts the print cycle and keeps additive methods out of established production flows.

The company remains early; the NFAC case shows document-load handling under multi-party stress, not factory-scale commercial proof.
