Swiss satellite manufacturer SWISSto12 has closed a $70 million Series C financing round to expand production of satellites and 3D-printed RF components. The company reports $140 million in 2025 revenue, more than $500 million in customer contracts and a 110% compound annual growth rate since 2022. The round follows $84.8 million in support from the European Space Agency and ESA member states, alongside earlier financing rounds of about $22 million and $30 million. SWISSto12 is targeting profitability this year while increasing output for demand across satellite payloads, ground terminals and communications infrastructure.

Its additive manufacturing position is concentrated in RF hardware, where reduced mass, fewer assembled parts and performance gains can matter directly to satellite economics. That application focus has helped SWISSto12 extend from RF components into HummingSat geostationary satellites, sovereign communications offerings and HummingLink-SOTP satellite user terminals. The company cites seven HummingSat orders, sales of antennas to low-Earth-orbit constellation makers and 2,000 Humming-SOTP units in the market. It is also working with CAES and Lockheed Martin to deliver parts, placing its manufacturing capability inside a broader aerospace and defense supply chain rather than limiting it to standalone component sales.

The financing is meaningful because SWISSto12 must now convert a sizable contract position into repeatable delivery across several demanding product lines at once. Buyers will care less about the funding headline than production cadence, payload performance, integration capacity and the company’s ability to preserve RF manufacturing quality as volumes rise. For AM, the case reinforces that the strongest aerospace value capture often comes from owning a qualified, high-value application and then expanding around that application into systems and services.
