W2P Engineering GmbH, a Vienna-based maker of SLA desktop printers for dentistry, hearing aids and jewelry, has filed for restructuring proceedings without self-administration at Vienna's Commercial Court, with plans to continue operating. The trigger was a missed follow-up order from a major customer plus delays in the distribution plan with Turkish majority shareholder Redon Teknoloji (77.59 percent) and shortages in DLP components, pushing several customer orders into Q3 2026. Liabilities total about 810,000 euros against assets including four SLA patents, trademarks and equipment; ten employees are affected. Two new SolFlex devices, the dental-practice SF165 and dental-lab 4K, remain in development, with IP staying with the company.

W2P's SLA printers serve point-of-care dental and hearing-aid production, a niche where desktop vat photopolymerization competes with Formlabs and SprintRay on turnaround rather than scale. The stated triggers, one lost order and a shareholder-side distribution delay, show how exposed small SLA vendors are when tied to a single channel partner and anchor account. Creditors were offered a 20 percent recovery rate, and continuation depends on a still-unquantified deposit and Redon Teknoloji routing new orders through its network.
