Sinterit adds DyeMansion VX1 vapour smoothing and DM60 colouring to its BIANCO2 SLS offering

Sinterit will sell DyeMansion’s VX1 vapour smoothing system and DM60 colouring system alongside its BIANCO2 selective laser sintering platform. BIANCO2 is Sinterit’s powder bed fusion system for white and natural polymer powders. The arrangement is intended to let customers configure a workflow spanning printing, surface finishing and colouring through Sinterit. DyeMansion’s VX1 uses the company’s VaporFuse Surfacing process, a solvent-based treatment designed to produce high-gloss, water-repellent polymer surfaces with consistent, repeatable results.

For Sinterit, the partnership addresses a persistent constraint in polymer powder bed fusion: printed-part value is frequently determined by finishing quality, colour consistency and the labour required after depowdering, not by the printer alone. Packaging these systems with BIANCO2 gives buyers a clearer route from a functional white or natural SLS part to an end-use presentation standard, while retaining the ability to select a workflow matched to their production needs. It also extends DyeMansion’s reach into Sinterit’s installed base, which the company says spans customers in 80 countries over the past decade.

The practical test will be whether resellers can translate the bundled equipment into documented finishing recipes for specific parts and powders, rather than treating post-processing as a standalone accessory. DyeMansion also said its compact Powershot system is scheduled to launch at Formnext 2026, adding a further potential finishing option for smaller-scale users.
