Jingye plans a reported $700 million precision-parts site with 400 metal printers, while Lincsolution plans a KRW 49.7 billion AM foundry. Both projects still need to demonstrate sustained demand and productive output. Medyssey received FDA 510(k) clearance for its 3D-printed titanium sacroiliac fusion screw, while ROKIT Healthcare plans a 10-patient study of its kidney tissue patch. Together, the developments suggest that investors and operators should weigh planned capacity and clinical progress against evidence of repeat orders and adoption.
Notable Developments
- Jingye - Jingye plans a Guangdong precision-parts site with 400 metal printers, powder production and metal injection molding. The reported $700 million project targets partial output before the end of 2026, but customer orders and qualified output remain unconfirmed.
- Lincsolution - Lincsolution plans a KRW 49.7 billion investment in a Daejeon AM foundry, with operations targeted for the first quarter of 2027. The move expands its services beyond printer sales, but utilization and repeat orders remain unproven.
- Medyssey - Medyssey received FDA 510(k) clearance for its 3D-printed titanium Odys-SI Screw for sacroiliac fusion. The clearance extends its implant portfolio, but launch timing and clinical adoption remain unestablished.
- Beijing Institute of Technology and Tsinghua University - Researchers reported meter-scale single-crystal Ti-6Al-4V rods and lattices made using wire-arc additive manufacturing. Creep results support further research, while production yield and component qualification remain unproven.
- Yamazaki Mazak Corporation - Mazak launched the INTEGREX i-450S NEO AM, which combines powder-fed laser deposition, cutting and grinding. Its reported starting price is JPY 216.8 million, but measured payback was not disclosed.
- Bright Laser Technologies - BLT approved a CNY 117.98 million capital injection into its wholly owned materials subsidiary using proceeds raised in 2023. The subsidiary reported no revenue through September 2026, and its commissioning date remains unclear.
- Godtech - Godtech received KRW 3 billion from a nuclear industry growth fund and is discussing 3D-printed small modular reactor components with Doosan. No supply contract or completed component qualification was disclosed.
- ROKIT Healthcare - ROKIT reported animal-study results for an autologous kidney tissue patch and plans a 10-patient study in South Korea. The planned study has yet to establish human safety or sustained kidney-function benefit.
- Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics - Researchers reported 2.57 dB/mm on-off gain in rare-earth-doped glass waveguides made with DLP printing and subsequent sintering. Net device gain, repeatability and production economics remain unproven.
- Anycubic - Anycubic plans to bring Thingiverse's library to Makeronline through a collaboration scheduled for November 17. Selected designs will be converted to 3MF and prepared for multicolor printing, but the size of that subset remains unspecified.
