AMPulse Diligence Briefs

Evidence you can put your name on.

A Brief is a footnoted, few-page diligence document about one company: public evidence compiled, conflicting sources adjudicated, and what could not be confirmed stated as exactly that. Every claim carries an evidence tier, so it transplants into your memo, deck, or purchase request with its sourcing attached.

Why a database row is not diligence

Real example: industry coverage describes a well-known AM company's 2022 raise as “$355M”. Funding databases show different numbers. Both are wrong in different ways: the primary release says the company “has raised $355 million”, and three checks (prior rounds summing to $112M, the post-2026 total matching $575M, the investor list including the seed syndicate) show $355M was cumulative capital, not a round. A buyer cross-checking headlines against a database sees a contradiction; a Brief resolves it and shows the arithmetic.

That resolution is published in full in our sample Brief. Databases track; Briefs adjudicate.

Exemplar Briefs

Each exemplar is a different kind of company, because the evidence available differs by ownership structure. Read one before requesting your own.

The evidence tiers

[F]Official recordGovernment, regulatory, patent office, or court document
[V]Cross-verifiedTwo or more genuinely independent sources
[R]ReportedSingle source, or aggregator-tracked without a locatable primary
[C]Company claimStated by the company or its investors; no independent verification found
[I]AMPulse inferenceOur analysis; the reasoning is shown
[?]Not verifiableWe looked and could not confirm; a diligence question, not a fact

A tier below [V] marks work we have not done yet for that company. That is the difference between the two kinds of Brief below.

Request a Verified Brief

Each Brief takes real production and editorial time, so capacity is limited. Before we accept a request we check our coverage of the company and reply with the scope we can stand behind.

Method notes: Briefs are compiled and source-verified by AMPulse's research pipeline from publicly disclosed evidence; load-bearing claims are editorially reviewed before delivery. Corrections are public (corrections log); how scores work is public (methodology). AMPulse connects the evidence; you make the call.
