In 2022, annual domestic newly installed capacity was 11.36 GW, first in China for 12 years, with global cumulative installations reaching 12.7 GW. In 2023, benefited from Mainland China's 77.1 GW new wind capacity, 65% of global total. Global market share is around 15% with activity in 38 countries, total installations around 140 GW including 10 GW out of China. In 2024, 18.7 GW were installed by Goldwind with 2.5 GW out of China. Goldwind had the largest foreign footprint of Chinese players in 2023 with 748 MW of installations, followed closely by Envision with 561 MW.
