Sicnova signed an 82.6 million euro agreement with Spain's Ministry of Defence in December 2023 to implement digitization and 3D printing of military spare parts. Meltio, a joint venture partner, has customers in more than 60 countries as of 2022. In November 2017, Grupo Sicnova joined Techniplas' open innovation program as a full member, delivering large-format 3D printers to Techniplas' Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center in Ventura, California. Meltio technology has been validated by the French Navy for real maneuvers, and the US Navy has signed contracts with Meltio and deployed one of its printers on a US warship.
