Growth & Milestones
Growth Metrics
Began as a merged entity with more than 800 member companies and 141 employees. Received about €4.6M in IVACE nominative funding in a recent annual allocation. Has 11 AM printing technologies across more than 800 m² of facilities.
Major Milestones
1984: predecessor institute founded (per the Spanish Aluminium Association profile). 2015-2016: AIMME (metal-mechanical) and AIDIMA (furniture/wood) merge to form AIDIMME. 2021: installs Prima Additive Print Genius 150/250 multi-laser PBF cell, becomes Prima Additive demonstration centre in Spain, and receives the Cervera Centre of Excellence designation for metal AM (CEFAM). Later: installs Meltio wire-DED system for biomedical titanium implants (ATILA project). 2026: exhibitor at Formnext.
